Adults need a tetanus/diphtheria booster every 10 years. Tdap is preferred at least once in adulthood, especially for pregnant women (each pregnancy), new parents, grandparents, and anyone in close contact with babies.

医生为何推荐

One dose of Tdap, then Td or Tdap booster every 10 years. Pregnant women: one dose between 16–36 weeks each pregnancy. Important if it has been more than 10 years since your last tetanus shot.
